Flat Time Reduction was founded in 2013 by a husband and wife team of engineers. Based in Houston, TX, FTR is a company built on a solid foundation of Industrial Engineering and LEAN Manufacturing. Prior to forming FTR, our company co-founders spent time working in manufacturing, transportation, and oil and gas. Drawing on experience and knowledge gained from each industry, they recognized the potential for the oil and gas industry to benefit from a new system – LEAN Oilfield SolutionsTM
Flat Time Reduction takes a “new old school” approach to process improvement. We believe in measured data, harnessing technology, and boots on the ground. This approach is what makes FTR unique. Our combination of multi-industry experience and oilfield toughness makes us valuable; and our drive to earn respect makes us successful.
FTR firmly believes in the oil and gas industry and supports the U.S. Shale Revolution. We look forward to the future of our great industry.
Thad holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology from Purdue University. His career started in 2006 with Lowes Home Improvement as a Field Industrial Engineer. At Lowes he learned the fundamentals, and how to apply Industrial Engineering and LEAN to virtually any operation.
